if you had told me six months ago that i would be able to walk my (100lb) dog in the neighborhood without a leash on, i would have probably laughed in your face. but thanks to some fancy-dancy (and relatively damn expensive) training, that’s just what the riggs and i were able to do yesterday for the first time. it’s a whole new world, thanks to steve, the dr. phil of dog training. and to the few neighbors we saw who did the double-take when they realized that my huge dog was off-leash, don’t worry, he’s friendly.

and then i had to come home and watch some crazy-ass japanese cartoon that i guess is a kid’s show where the main character, who has adopted this puppy whose parents were run over has to put down his dog ’cause the dog has evil powers and is tracking down and (psychically) setting on fire the people who ran over his parents. and the dog is so full of rage that it won’t stop killing, so our hero, cyborg 009 himself, has to shoot it dead. yes, it’s just as fucked up as it sounds.
