i really don’t know when this blog turned into the tv blog, but i’m not really complaining. i know the “tv brings me closer to the world” tag has been up there for quiet some time, but that was just as an ode (and now in memorium) to the late, great S-K, but it’s been pretty apt for a while now, what with the BSG and The Wire and the Studio 60 and such — and i haven’t even talked about Lost, which I’m still getting used to watching on regular time instead of in huge chunks of DVD time now that I’ve got both a DVR and an HDTV (and it is hands-down the best-looking show in HD that is broadcast that I’ve seen yet).

The only real problem (and it’s not a “problem” problem) with the DVR action is that my netflix movies are tending to sit on the shelf for a bit longer than I’m used to. and of course, it’s football season, which delays those discs as well. of course, as soon as i get caught up on the DVR stuff (and now that the seahawks lost their starting quarterback), which I will any day now, or maybe at least when amy goes out of town next week, that’ll end, but right now i’ve got three movies at home, one of which i’ve had for almost a week… which is just slacker-tastic of me. and i haven’t been to the movies either, and there are actually things i want to see out there — the departed and borat and being at the top of the list.

do i have a point? not really. other than that first episode of breaking bonaduce better be the shit.
