Happy (almost) New Year! 2009 has been a series of true cliches, I guess — insert your whirlwind/rollercoaster/days of thunder comparison here. Just to note a very few things: the boy turned 2, my marriage turned 4 (not to mention 10 for the couplehood), the dog turned 9, the doctors’ appointments got less frequent, the job became more interesting, the laugh quotient grew exponentially, Archer started walking and talking, the mythical dishwasher got installed, the administration changed (though maybe not enough, grrr), the car got smashed (and then replaced with all new! all better!), the amy got more yoga trained, the mullet got cut, and good times were had with friends and family galore.

But to really close out 2009, here’s a real quick video of some of the best sounds a dad could hear all year. Happy new year to you all and here’s to an even better 2010!
